I started writing about Eurovision for the Contest, the same year Italy returned after a year hiatus. Since returning, Italy has missed out on the Top 10 twice — in when RAI decided not to use Sanremo as its selection process, and last year when their singer was the Sanremo runner-up. Normally I try to challenge the notion of the declared favorite winning, partly because a foregone conclusion see and is hella boring. However, this song has so much going for it. The construction of the song brims with charisma, though the abridged version has removed my favorite part.
Francesco Gabbani performs for Italy this year on Eurovision His approaching to the world of music began from a tiny accomplice - his family owned the only shop of musical instruments in the city. At the age of four, he started to beat the drum. At the age of 9 he began to learn guitar play, spending adolescence in an emotional whirlwind, which made him realize that expressing himself with music is the way of his life. He became famous after winning the newcomers' section of the Sanremo Music Festival with the song "Amen". The next year, he went on to win the main section of the Sanremo Music Festival with the song "Occidentali's Karma". The crowd is shouting a mantra Evolution stumbles The naked ape is dancing Westerners' karma Westerners' karma The naked ape is dancing Westerners' karma When life is distracted men drop Westerners' karma Westerners' karma The ape gets back on its feet Namaste, Go!
